Noooo… use something like coconut or sesame. If you are typically more of a “hot” person, don’t use sesame as it’s warming. Coconut is cooling but it can be a bit drying. Sunflower is cooling. You can also visit Ayurvedic suppliers (I like Baynan Botanicals and The Ayurveda Shop) and buy a tailor made body oil for your constitution. I’m happy to provide a free clarity call to help you figure that out!
It would really depend on your constitution. If you are typically a more “hotter” person (hot temper, hot hands and feet, red skin, etc), then use an organic, cooling oil like sunflower or coconut. Sesame is a good warming oil if you usually feel flighty and ungrounded. Play with several and see how you feel.
Awww thanks!! Paid members benefit from workshops and Q&A. I will be diving deeper into Ayurveda in the coming months. There’s too much to share for free. Most of the Ayurveda coaching will be a paid offering!
When I lived in Las Vegas for almost 2 decades I studied Kundalini Yoga with Ravi Singh, before he married Ana. I couldn’t find classes on the coast so I just focused on Pilates and regular yoga. I miss those days.
Come to a class next time I host one. I will post when I have a workshop coming up. Taking some time off right now but there’s a great kriya I’ve been practicing that I really want to teach. It’s amazing!
Thank you my friend. I will try this!!!

That makes me feel so good! What parts in the post sparked each emotion, I’m curious!
I’m truly unable and unallowing enough to share more than the fact that I am very glad you liked that I sure did. 😃
Hey Stephanie, this is fascinating. I knew about the lemon water and tongue scraping, but what kind of oil do you recommend?
