Quote for The Week
“You can be having your breakdown while still being in your brilliance” - Lisa Nichols
NO MATTER WHAT
I realized that I wasn’t playing full out. I had convinced myself that I was doing the best I could but the truth is, the best I could was a bar I had set to avoid going above and beyond.
Yeah, I was getting by. I was comfortable. I was surviving.
Surviving so comfortably, in fact, that I didn’t even notice how small I had made myself.
When I took the time to reflect, I noticed that it’s actually been years since I have actively crafted copy for my own coaching services. I was comfortable taking on the copywriting work since it put me behind a laptop, behind the scenes, and out of the public eye.
It was paying me. So I used the gig as a modality to get what I needed, manage my responsibilities as a mom, and get on with my day.
I would set up a workshop, class, or kriya bi-monthly because I love to teach and inspire and it makes me feel good to be in community, making people feel good.
I would coach a few clients here and there, host workshops and classes, and once in a while put out an inspirational post, so that people would know that I was still in the game as I learned more and developed my skills.
The only one-on-one clients I would take on were those who have been following me and my journey for a long time and knew that I could help them with a problem they were facing, but I wasn’t actively marketing my services.
Regardless, it all served me. I learned a lot, and I learned and educated myself furiously, but when it came time to scale and grow the business that I was most passionate about (transformational coaching), I froze. I stayed where I was just a little longer — and a little longer...
Because I forgot that I told myself I was going to reach my goals NO MATTER WHAT.
How many times have you pulled back the curtain to notice that you really weren’t giving it your all?
It’s a hard truth to come face to face with.
The moment you realize it, and take responsibility for your goals and your dreams and commit to taking even one small action daily to produce results… you’re on your way to getting back on track.
Always take action to level up.
In my case, I noticed I wasn’t taking bold enough action. I was turning down investments, I was turning down opportunities for me to be coached by bigger players. I was staying small and finding every excuse to stay there.
I was doing just under enough… but not enough. I realized that I had to do some more uncomfortable things — things I didn’t want to do, to move the needle.
Things like:
Hiring a coach for myself (spending money)
Learning new trends and systems to support my work (yuck, tech…no!)
Learn about investing and budgeting (I always let my husband do that stuff, but I realized I needed to make myself financially independent I didn’t want to be depend on my husband for resources I needed, but I was becoming comfortable with not having to do any financial planning or portfolio building).
So… what have you been avoiding?
Write on a piece of paper today: “I will __________ (whatever your goal is), no matter what.”
Today’s post is inspired by one of my mentors, Lisa Nichols, who I will be working with over the next 8 weeks to develop my skills as a public speaker and transformational coach — I took this bold action this week because I promised myself I would reach my goals…
No matter what.
A Question for you to Ponder Today:
What in my life could use an “upgrade” and what actions am I willing to take in order to start the upgrade?

#1 FEAR: PUBLIC SPEAKING #2 FEAR: DEATH - by
I love this post so much because it speaks a lot to today’s reflection. Especially because it talks about public speaking, which is the big scary thing I’ve been avoiding too.
EPISODE 10: WHEN TO EMOTIONALLY FUCK OFF IN FRIENDSHIPS - by
Maggie, I love how you write. You are super authentic. And your voice is compelling. This is a topic everyone should lean into. Some friendships are not worth the life-sucking energy drain. I’ve learned the hard way too. Especially as empaths, we’ve got to keep our circles smaller. We just can’t be friends with everybody.
Ritual for the Week: Burn a Bay Leaf
I recently added a bay leaf burning ritual to my weekly routine. It may sound silly, but carving out the time to practice this ancient Buddhist technique feels nourishing to my soul.
According to the Buddhist philosophy, bay leaves hold transformative and purifying properties. When you burn the bay leaf, you set your intentions and then visualize them being carried into the ether. It gives me a couple extra moments each week to focus on what I am creating, and it smells nice too!

I really love this prompt along with your words. I don’t know why, but to me, the “no matter what mindset” is something I need right now for working on and with myself on an inner level.
Like overcoming some inner struggles - no matter what 🤍
Oh Stephanie, thank you so much for your kind words! Very true, we have limited energy and so it is better to spend it on the people who are meant for it. And I totally relate to the 'keeping yourself small'. It's somewhat part of the Belgian culture, but mostly it's my family's heritage I think 😅
